Speaker Preview: Forget Funnels - Rachel Starr Says This Is What Really Moves People.

Check out this podcast episode with Rachel Starr...

Hey there!

There’s a moment in my conversation with Rachel Starr, founder of coCreator Society, that stopped me in my tracks. We were talking about summits: strategy, format, audience flow, the usual.

And then she said something that instantly reframed the whole idea:

“I actually look at summits completely differently. I see them as my gateway to build connection, and therefore community.”

And that’s when it clicked.

Most founders think of a summit as an asset: a content machine, a list-builder, a lead magnet, a high-leverage marketing play.

And it is all those things. But Rachel reminded me of something we often forget when we’re knee-deep in tactics:

People don’t want more content. They want connection.

Rachel didn’t come to this from a theoretical place. She built a thriving community, launched the CoCreator Society app, and runs events that feel more like gatherings than funnels.

And her philosophy is simple: If you build real community, the sales take care of themselves. Revenue becomes a byproduct of relationship.

When she hosts a summit, she’s not thinking about conversions. She’s thinking about belonging.

She’s thinking about how attendees feel in the “room,” how they’re being seen, how they’re being held.

She calls it “mom energy,” and honestly, there’s no better description. It’s nurturing. It’s grounding. And it’s magnetic.

This is why her summits work. It’s why people keep coming back. It’s why her community has momentum most founders only dream of.

And it aligns perfectly with the core of Strike Marketing: Moments matter. Category design matters. Community matters. Founder-led content matters.

But underneath all of it - beneath every strategy, every interview, every Summit Strike - is the human need for connection.

Rachel reminded me of something essential: A summit isn’t an event. It’s a place. A place where the right people gather, where the right conversations happen, where trust is built.

If you want to see how she does it, she’ll be speaking at the Strike Marketing Summit (Dec 11–12). And trust me… you don’t want to miss this one.
